Lewis Clarke is one of those artists who convey the same viewpoint. He is also known as Xidontlie. Xidontlie is an energetic singer, producer, and artist. He is not ashamed of his scars. Xidontlie talks about his hardships, where he was depressed and lost. He wants to inspire those who are fighting their battles. Xidontlie’s Creative Journey Xidontlie has been writing music since the age of 12. His love for music sparked at Murry Side Youth Club when a social worker used to bring in his decks and run a set full of grime beats to keep us out of trouble. Xidontlie has been volunteering in recording studios for years, developing his skills as a producer and an engineer. Whether it was grime sets with his childhood friends and first music group, KDS, or his friend Lewis White teaching him in his home studio, he has always been surrounded by creative people. He studied Art & Design at Suffolk College to discover his potential as an artist. His passion for art, in general, and music, in particular, was intensified. His eyes sparkle when they brainstorm ideas consequently things started to fall into place while working on a project. Overcoming Hardship through Music & Art Xidontlie had felt lost and depressed for a long time. He struggled to find his way back to himself however, what kept him going was his love for music and art. Xidontlie strongly believes that it is easy to put up walls during hard times and not let anything in or out while it reaches the peak and blasts out. It is better to channel that pain into creating something beautiful. The least anyone can do is be expressive about how they are feeling, help others understand you and help yourself build deeper connections with those around you. This charismatic man has come a long way in his career and faced his equal share of hardships but that didn’t stop him from being himself. He wants to record as much music as possible whilst growing his global outreach to touch every person’s heart and inspire them to live healthy lives. His song “Searching” has reached over 100k streamers across all the platforms, and is being named BBC Introducing Track of the Week. Xidontlie’s Philosophy Xidontlie’s philosophy can be summed up to the quote “Be yourself because everyone else is taken”. He advises people to not take things so seriously. Have some fun, experiment, take risks and make some mistakes because some of the most important lessons are learned by stumbling in the dark and some of the most beautiful things happen by accident. To the people who are exploring the world of music, Xidontlie advises them to experiment as much as possible and not be afraid to let themselves make "bad music". You don't have to release everything you record. So the more you create and go outside of your comfort zone, the more you will see your potential and it will also help you find a sound you can stay consistent with. Xidontlie’s next major project would be a collaboration with the anime currently in production.

Desarae Dee, an award-winning Canadian instrumental fusion artist, composer, producer, and content creator, has been making waves in the Canadian music industry with her distinctive and unconventional playing style since 2014. Also known as "Toronto's Queen of Vibes," she creates music that is both passionate and meaningful, blending faith, soul, vulnerability, and a sense of divine balance into her compositions. Early life Desarae Dee was born in Toronto, Canada to Jamaican parents and has a multicultural heritage including roots in Jamaica, Britain, and India. Although she was interested in music from a young age, she did not have any representation of her race or culture in music teachers until she was 9 years old and got a teacher who took the time to work with her to build and flourish her musical gifts. At the age of 13, she started playing gospel and Caribbean music in church, and at 15, she wrote her first song. She continued her musical training for twelve years and went on to university to obtain degrees in music and education. Musical Journey of Desarae Dee Desarae Dee noticed the lack of representation of black women instrumentalists in the Canadian music industry and decided to become a trailblazer herself in order to inspire others. She released her first single, "I'll Worship You" in 2014, and soon discovered her talent in playing multiple instruments and creating music in the fusion genre. She shifted from live jazz and gospel to a fusion of different genres, including jazz, neo-soul, Gospel, R&B, electronic, funk, and Hip-Hop. Her release "In Rotation" in May 2020 was a turning point in her career, as she continued to release music and collaborate with other artists, gaining more recognition along the way. Awards and Recognitions Received by Desarae This charismatic woman’s music career has been marked by several noteworthy accomplishments, including winning the 2022 SiriusXM Black Canadian Music Award presented by the SOCAN Foundation, being featured on multiple podcasts and music blogs, appearing on two TV talk shows, and being a recurring feature on NPR Music Jazz Night in America. She also has a substantial digital following with over 20,000 genuine followers on social media besides serving as a worldwide ambassador for MUSICHYPEBEAST , working as Senior Digital Operations Director for RADIOPUSHERS, and hosting the Toronto Rising Podcast. She even gives back to the music community by partnering with Soundcheck Youth as a Guest Facilitator for their music programs. Despite facing obstacles and setbacks in her early days as a black woman instrumental artist in Canada, Desarae persevered and refused to let the lack of representation and support stop her. She struggled with writer's block, loneliness, and unfair treatment, but continued to prove herself and became an inspiration for others. Talking about the lives she has touched, Desarae says, “I love the messages that I receive from my supporters and fans about how inspired they are by what I'm doing. Those messages mean a lot to me because it reminds me that what I bring to the table matters and is needed!” Desarae's goal is to achieve global recognition and empower black women musicians by providing workshops and creating a sisterhood of musicians. She also wants to travel the world and share her music with diverse audiences, with a desire to be remembered as someone who had a profound impact on the lives of black and colored women through her musical journey.

Music is an art meant to provide revelation to the artist and satisfy their creativity. Jude Adams, a phenomenal music artist from Whitstable, Kent, England, is here to firmly leave her mark with her musical talent. We often refer to new artists as “young artists”, but what if the calling comes to you in your “mature artistic years”? Jude Adams is a determined as well as talented artist who believes that there’s no point in just contemplating the pursuit of passion. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. When you want something badly, you put all your efforts into achieving it, and no one can stop you from following your dreams at any age. In the end, age is just a number and there’s only one life to live to the fullest. Jude stands by this and hopes for others to do the same. She’s a talented person who has released a lot of commendable songs and albums since 2016 - in all 3 albums, 1 book, and 2 related art exhibitions. She has been interviewed 3 times by former BBC Arts Correspondent, Rosie Millard OBE. She was awarded an Arts Council England Grant in 2016 for the launch of her first album, “This Girl, This Woman”. Music in her blood Prior to her advent in the music industry, she worked in the fitness industry for 21 years having attended Sports College after school. Jude worked in Operations at all levels and then focused her attention on HR spearheading that department from its inception for LA Fitness gaining Management and HR Diplomas along the way. In 2004, Jude turned her attention to a long-held passion and spent 4 years gaining an Interior Design Diploma from the KLC School of Design in London. She then spent 2 years building up freelance work and running a high-end weekend B&B business from her home until 2012. This charismatic woman was always aware of her musical talent but didn’t start taking singing lessons until the autumn of 2008, before performing 6 cover songs with a band of session musicians at her 50th birthday party the following year. In January 2010, Jude did her first public performance singing covers at a Charity event. Forming a band and performing covers at small local gigs followed until health issues brought things to a grinding halt in 2012. Not to be deterred she came back stronger than ever unexpectedly starting to write her own material and creating music that resembled her unique personality and voice. Jude continues to demonstrate her love of music, curiosity and involvement in the arts generally allowing those things to take her career in some exciting directions!
