Living in a generation where most people, especially youngsters, are depressed and sad. It is important to feel positive and happy to have your work flow smoothly. The creative side of any person cannot be outshined if you don’t let it out. The positive emotions are like the boosters for them to come out of this shell of dull emotions. These boosters also need something to drive you toward your creativity. That driving force is personal growth. Creativity is the by-product of experiences and personal growth. If anybody is not going to focus on themselves, their output will never be the optimized outcome of their potential. Omer Luz - Working under the stage name of ‘Peter Spacey’ is an artist who believes that aligning one’s perspective towards personal growth and self-awareness enriches one's creative journey. Peter Spacey: A Multi-Faceted Artist Peter Spacey is a successful musician, producer, and audio-visual artist. Peter has produced music for prominent projects in the film, commercial, and gaming industries, including major placements and collaborations with Playstation, Samsung, HBO, Porsche, Vogue, National Geographic, Miss Universe, and New York Fashion Week. He has also collaborated as a featured artist in major campaigns, such as the Mitsubishi advert music-video series showcasing their new collection of cars and the 'Converse Beat' Special Music x Fashion worldwide campaign. He not only performed his music in clubs and festivals alongside renowned artists like Masego, Anomlie, and Madzack but also presented audio-visual exhibitions and worked at prestigious exhibitions and galleries worldwide, including Soho House, Tel Aviv Museum Of Art, The Holy Art Gallery (London), Neo Shibuya Screens (Japan), and Visions of Sounds (Rome). Peter has received recognition for his innovative use of technology in art and his contributions to art education, conducting masterclasses on artist mentality, creativity and management. From Bedroom Beats to Global Collaborations Before his big break, Peter grew up in an innovative and inspiring environment. He started playing piano at the age of 7 and started DJing at 14. During his teenage years, he experimented with synthesizers and drum machines, making beats in his bedroom, performing as a jazz keyboard player, and playing at local clubs and events as a DJ. Peter worked in music studios as a sound engineer and music producer, creating music for films and brands. Additionally, he was part of an interdisciplinary group of artists who created large-scale art installations. Peter was inspired to get into arts because art has always been an integral part of his life, serving as a medium for self-expression. He believes art can convey experiences, emotions, and concepts beyond words, connecting with the world in a unique and powerful way. Witnessing the power of music while DJing/live performances and observing how the crowd moves, grooves, and experiences the sound frequencies he creates is truly exhilarating for Peter. Music can take people on transcendent journeys that are not easily accessible through other forms is his one true source of inspiration. Inspiration to Pursue Dreams Peter’s eyes shine in the creative process of making music and art. He thoroughly enjoys the entire process of assembling a creation, from the initial spark of inspiration up to distributing and releasing it to the world. This charismatic man hopes to inspire others to pursue their creative passions, and follow their dreams by being a role model, demonstrating that it’s possible to create something unique and authentic when following one’s own vision and staying true to oneself. He wants to encourage artists to take risks, push boundaries, emphasize the importance of dedication, and inspire others through their art by using it as a means of expression and communication. To express his thoughts better, Peter Spacey gives words of wisdom, “Your art is a reflection of your soul. Invest in your soul, and your art will flourish”. This sentence is inspired by my insight that art is a by-product of our experiences, personal growth, and who we are as human beings. When we invest in our growth and development, we are also investing in our art. Our art becomes a reflection of our inner selves, and it becomes more beautiful and meaningful as we grow and evolve. As Quincy Jones said, "Your music will never be more or less than you are a human being." So if you want to create great art, start by working on yourself. “Become the best version of yourself, and your art will follow.”

Individuals who are depressed or facing a hard time find creativity a burden. Expressing art is very difficult when you carry the baggage of emotions. Everybody needs to understand that it is not a requirement that what you create has to be creative enough to be validated by others. Art can help you relish the bumps on the road. Lewis Clarke is one of those artists who convey the same viewpoint. He is also known as Xidontlie. Xidontlie is an energetic singer, producer, and artist. He is not ashamed of his scars. Xidontlie talks about his hardships, where he was depressed and lost. He wants to inspire those who are fighting their battles. Xidontlie’s Creative Journey Xidontlie has been writing music since the age of 12. His love for music sparked at Murry Side Youth Club when a social worker used to bring in his decks and run a set full of grime beats to keep us out of trouble. Xidontlie has been volunteering in recording studios for years, developing his skills as a producer and an engineer. Whether it was grime sets with his childhood friends and first music group, KDS, or his friend Lewis White teaching him in his home studio, he has always been surrounded by creative people. He studied Art & Design at Suffolk College to discover his potential as an artist. His passion for art, in general, and music, in particular, was intensified. His eyes sparkle when they brainstorm ideas consequently things started to fall into place while working on a project. Overcoming Hardship through Music & Art Xidontlie had felt lost and depressed for a long time. He struggled to find his way back to himself however, what kept him going was his love for music and art. Xidontlie strongly believes that it is easy to put up walls during hard times and not let anything in or out while it reaches the peak and blasts out. It is better to channel that pain into creating something beautiful. The least anyone can do is be expressive about how they are feeling, help others understand you and help yourself build deeper connections with those around you. This charismatic man has come a long way in his career and faced his equal share of hardships but that didn’t stop him from being himself. He wants to record as much music as possible whilst growing his global outreach to touch every person’s heart and inspire them to live healthy lives. His song “Searching” has reached over 100k streamers across all the platforms, and is being named BBC Introducing Track of the Week. Xidontlie’s Philosophy Xidontlie’s philosophy can be summed up to the quote “Be yourself because everyone else is taken”. He advises people to not take things so seriously. Have some fun, experiment, take risks and make some mistakes because some of the most important lessons are learned by stumbling in the dark and some of the most beautiful things happen by accident. To the people who are exploring the world of music, Xidontlie advises them to experiment as much as possible and not be afraid to let themselves make "bad music". You don't have to release everything you record. So the more you create and go outside of your comfort zone, the more you will see your potential and it will also help you find a sound you can stay consistent with. Xidontlie’s next major project would be a collaboration with the anime currently in production.
