Get ready to hear some engaging rap music as Noel Pagan (popularly recognized as ‘TheKidNoel’) is all set to debut his new single from an upcoming album that launches in Spring of 2022. After having performed at over 15 PA NY and DE-related shows, TheKidNoel has carved a unique niche in the rap industry. He bagged two different management deals in 2018 and signed a distribution deal in 2019. The rapper dropped Ep “Motivated” in 2019 and “How I Got Here” in 2020 – two popular mixtapes you can enjoy on all platforms. Noel is currently working on another ep that will be released in 2022.
For someone who accumulated over 200k streams independently, all that glitters was not always gold. Having dealt with his share of struggles and grind, Norristown Pennsylvania-based Noel Pagan is all about beating the odds to shine. From having zero fans to meeting Teddy Riley and the upcoming album he is working on, Noel’s journey has been inspirational.
Birth Of ‘TheKidNoel’
Puerto Rican rapper Noel was in middle school playing with music and rap names. In 2013-14, he came up with ‘TheKidNoel’ but faced many hardships throughout. Whether it was his phone with 3 mixtapes written getting stolen, falling out with managers, bad business deals, investing thousands into music or getting pennies back due to being labelled opinionated – Noel experienced it all. Add to it, his mother’s addiction to drugs and having breast cancer made things out of hand.
For Noel, studio time while his mom was sick or on drugs, gave him an escape from reality. His mom, and how he grew up inspired him to chase the rap dream. Noel was always the youngest in his friend groups or even with the adults and was the “baby or kid”, so ‘TheKid’ just stuck with him. But building that with age and keeping it was a challenge. Today, TheKidNoel has become a household name, thanks to the fact that Noel is all over Christmas time. It just made sense to remain authentic. After all, that is the real essence of music.
A Rap Artist!
TheKidNoel is open in his music about suicide, depression, anxiety and stress. Recently, COVID-19 slowed the process and made things harder. Noel confesses that so many people were worried about the virus that it stopped fans from coming to shows. Then, there was a lack of people who wanted to work because of the situation. This made it more of a challenge as an independent artist. But for someone who has always fought against the odds, TheKidNoel plans to keep giving people what is real to them. He is working to make shows and events based on what his fans feel is safe and secure as well as within guidelines.
Being independent, workaholic and ambitious makes Noel a rapper and an artist. Rap is Noel’s craft that has taken time to master and Noel continues to work towards it. He is building a website where you can find merchandise links to his upcoming music projects. It will be his means to interact with fans. Noel has planned the clothing merchandise to be shirts, hoodies, masks, long tees, tank tops, hats and more.
