Actress Taraji P. Henson recently made an appearance while strutting around the streets of New York City wearing a furry Marc Jacobs dress and purple, sky-high shoes. Henson, who was adorned by Jason Rembert, was also spotted sporting black ruched leather gloves and Tym Wallace, with Saisha Beecham’s hair and makeup.
Henson used the sidewalk as her little catwalk, posing for photos from every angle, needless of any runway. The enormous sherpa dress, which appeared to be made of several pieces stitched together at the waist, was one single piece. In the front of the dress, the sleeves of the connected jacket were left untied, revealing a peek of the built-in belt.

The woolly dress, which was made with comfort in mind, had a high neckline, no sleeves, and a waistline that curled into a subtle mermaid skirt that ended a few inches below her knees. Henson’s strappy purple boots, which served as both footwear and stilts as she gracefully moved past the throng, matched her outfit.
