Stephanie Phillips, a folk-pop artist and guitarist from West Chester, Pennsylvania, released her full-length album “Carousel of Hope” in December. Her timeless music and unparalleled musical intellect once again captivated hearts.
Her voice is full of hope and delicate lyricism that turns heads around at the first strum of her guitar. Stephanie is not a new artist around the block. She’s been creating music since the age of 9. In college, she performed at prominent locations around New York, including Bitter End, Don’t Tell Mama, the Village Gate, and the Speakeasy. She was recorded on Fast Folk, the Speakeasy’s album. In the early 1990s, she opened for Emmy Lou Harris in the Berkshires.
Recently, she released her single “951 Days”, and plans to go full power on artist mode to create evergreen music and a global community of people bonded with their love for music.
Career Highlights
After moving from PA to NYC, she started performing at local festivals. However, life works in uncertain ways, and she had to take a hiatus from music after having 2 kids.
“I returned to writing and performing. Released the 3rd album (available to the public) in Feb 2020. Literally two weeks before we went into shutdown. I launched that album to a sold-out audience at the pre-eminent theater in West Chester known as Uptown. Most recently, I released my 4th album in December of 2022 and another single in February of this year.”

In her latest single, “951 Days”, she has written an ode to people who’ve never backed down from struggles and have spent days & years apart from their families and loved ones. This is dedicated to Stephanie’s sister, who has been shielded for more than 951 days to keep from covid, which – if infected – she could die from, due to her immunosuppressed condition. The song weaves an emotional string with resonance to people’s feelings for the cherished ones in their lives. Currently, this song is available on all streaming platforms. Stephanie has been working tirelessly to create more folk-pop songs that the audience will love and definitely add to their playlists!
