Roxercat is ready to take off with their first single, “Pearls”, released in Oct. and another tune, “I Changed Today”, dropping on the 18th of November 2022 both from their upcoming EP, Pearls.
Bands in general are the confluence of different people’s talents, personalities, and ideas. The results can be majestic and mind-boggling when a certain combination of people come together in a unified form. One thing that makes this band stand out from the others is the passion that drives them beyond the par standards and kicks down the constraints to create music that stands out. When we talk about experience and ideas, the band Roxercat leads the way. Its members, Stan Lassiter, Price Jones, and Bill Francis have all previously released music and entertained the world with their endeavors.
The band started playing together in 2017 for another project, The Fortunate Few: the rock opera. They worked on this project for quite some time and built it up block by block but as soon as the CD was released, the cruel pandemic brought it all to a screeching halt. It was a bummer, but once you start in the music industry, the challenges become a part of the process.
Unique Member Traits
Price is an artsy spirit with a knack for everything creative. She has always been an entertainer, from the kid putting on shows in the garage with friends as the backup singers to eventually studying classical guitar in college. Stan is considered by many to be Nashville’s premiere jazz guitarist. His genius guitar technique that he is so well known for, just naturally spills out of him like a flowing river. Bill began playing the bass at the age of 14 when he and his friends decided to start a band and no one wanted to be the bass player. He picked up the bass, hit a note and when it rattled the entire house, he was SOLD!
They hope to move people with their music. Their songs will inspire you and unveil an excitement about life. They also embed the message in their song “Pearls”, that holding on to your dreams and surrounding yourself with people you believe in who also believe in you, is ultimately what life is about.

The future holds a lot for Roxercat as they plan to release their 6 song EP in January 2023 and while they’re still enjoying “Pearls” well-received reviews, they’ve nailed down the process and are working to create new songs that people resonate with.
