Beginning Of His Musical Journey
Basil began composing music at an early age, but it wasn’t until he was 19 that he began producing and recording the songs he composed all by himself! The journey of any artist that looks alluring, isn’t the same. Ups & downs are part of it. As a broke college student, Basil couldn’t afford to have anyone who could produce the songs he wrote. So, to keep his music alive and with the hope to make it reach the music lovers out there, he took some time to learn how to do it on his own.
Even Covid 19 couldn’t shake his determination while he was so focused on his music. When all the artists & industries were collapsing, Basil was busy honing his skills and becoming a better version of himself! He always wanted people to experience the same feeling that one gets by listening to their favorite songs. He wanted people to experience serenity through his music. It is well known that artists have come up with masterful ideas while sleeping. The same is the experience of Basil. His popular single “Return” came to him one night while he was just thinking of the past relationships he had been in. Therefore, Basil projects “Return” as a song about confronting past mistakes and coming to terms with the consequences of actions. It is a longing for the things that once was a hope for love that is still lingering in the corner of one’s mind.

Basil dreams of inspiring others! He wants to inspire all the budding artists to create music they want and not what the fans expect them to. He says, “I hope to inspire other people to make the music that they want. I think nowadays people get caught up in chasing a check or chasing specific fans. The fans are going to come as long as you’re making the music that you want to make. The passion will be evident, and it will be your best work when you create what makes you happy. I hope my music inspires people to create what makes them happy and to do it simply because they’re passionate about it”.
He strongly believes in the philosophy of holding yourself high. This reflects in the music he makes and the name he has chosen for himself.
