A star-studded group of UK celebrities, including a newly-bearded Prince William, have come together to celebrate Team Great Britain’s stellar performance at the Paris Olympics.
In a video shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ X (formerly Twitter) account, Snoop Dogg kicked off the well-wishes with his signature flair. “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB,” he said.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, also known as Kate, expressed her admiration, stating, “Well done on all you’ve achieved,” while Prince William praised the athletes for their inspiration, saying, “You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”
Joining the royal duo in sending congratulations were soccer icon David Beckham and TV presenter Emma Willis, among others. Their joint message on X celebrated Team GB’s incredible journey, highlighting their dedication and passion.
The post read: “Well done @TeamGB, what an incredible journey! Every athlete showed immense dedication, heart, and passion. You made us all so proud! Here’s to celebrating every triumph at @Paris2024 and looking forward to more from @ParalympicsGB later this summer.”
Prince William’s new bearded look was a hit, generating as much buzz as the Olympic victories themselves. This comes as Catherine, who recently made public appearances after announcing her cancer diagnosis in March, continues to support and inspire.
Great Britain’s athletes garnered an impressive 65 medals at the Paris Summer Olympics.
