She’s a hard-working and determined student who’s following her musical passion while also pursuing a full-time degree in Music business BBA from Belmont University. She was also awarded the Brad Paisley Endowed Scholarship this year for her work at Belmont and in the music industry. Her love for music is unparalleled as she works tirelessly and never backs away from the challenges that she faces in balancing both work and life.

Features and New Music
After her debut EP, Mattie was featured by Lucky Money and Blackbird Media on the famous Nashville Sign billboard off of West End and Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee.
So far, she has released two singles and one EP. Her first single “Square One” was released in December 2021, and her second single “Leavin’ Tennessee” was released in May 2022. Her debut EP was then released on January 30th, 2023.
She works day in and out to enhance her knowledge and write music nonstop. She plans to embark on her musical journey full-time post-graduation and bring the wonders of country music to the world.
She comments, “Before really digging into the country music industry, I was a lover of anything musical including actual musicals. I am a classically trained vocalist and first started off doing musical theater, choir, acapella groups, worship teams, and anything else even remotely relating to music. What inspires me the most is the feeling I get when I meet a fellow musician that empathizes with the struggle of being an independent artist.” – Mattie Rose
Country music is something that makes Mattie feel at home and connected to her roots. She loves to write with people and to see others come together as one to create magic in the form of melodies. Hearing others’ passions and listening to friends and colleagues shred on the guitar, piano, fiddle, or anything else always makes her feel ecstatic and beyond grateful for this exposure to music.
