Neekull, a singer/songwriter, creates art in the form of her new song, Let Me Know.

She always knew music was her passion and started at the age of 15. She started showcasing her skills and her eagerness to be on stage all around the LA area. She has a flare to creating music that integrates her culture as her parents are both from different countries, and she takes pride in where she belongs from.

Music Serves A Purpose
As a young child, Neekull used to listen to her favorite artists and relate to them on an emotional and mental level. She is inspired by artists like Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Jhene Aiko, etc. Her music always stands out because she feels that the artists that she liked are all creating their own identity by embracing their struggles, triumphs, and realities of life.
This inspired her to write “Let Me Know”, and show the world how you can deal with adversities without losing hope or courage. Music allows her to be expressive, and also support other people who come from a mixed culture.

“Let Me Know” is about a real-life experience that she had. She wrote this song to show how people create complications by hiding their true feelings, misleading the other person, and creating drama. She wrote this song after discovering how secrets can create complications and she was enraged at how things unfolded. So, she went on to create it into a song that swoons everybody.
Through her music, she ensures to relay the message that people don’t always have to fit the standards to fit in society. The uniqueness in every individual is what makes them create history.
