Kim Kardashian has admitted that she is hesitant to start dating again because potential partners may be “scared” by her ex-boyfriend Kanye West. The reality TV star revealed her concerns during an interview on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast, saying “I don’t have the nicest ex, would everyone be scared?”, the reality TV star said, “I don’t believe it’s right that I would intentionally put someone in danger or introduce someone fresh who could be really innocent.”
Kardashian’s concerns are not unfounded, as actor Pete Davidson sought professional help after enduring months of online abuse from West following their breakup. The couple, Kim and Pete, who first sparked rumors of a relationship after their on-screen kiss during Kim’s appearance on Saturday Night Live in October 2021, had been inseparable in the months following. The two were often spotted on double dates with Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, going on vacations and walking red carpets together. However, the fans of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were startled by the news of their split after nine months of dating.

Kanye West has also faced controversy over his racist statements, including a tweet in which he declared he wanted to commit “Death Con 3” on Jews. As a result, he was banned from Twitter in October and lost his partnership with Adidas for the Yeezy brand.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West married in Paris in 2014, and have four children together. Despite their breakup, Kardashian has remained committed to supporting her children and helping them maintain a positive relationship with their father. In a recent interview on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast, she also discussed the challenges of raising children with Kanye West and how she has tried to instill a love for their father in spite of his unpredictable behaviour.
Kardashian said that as her children are young, she wants to protect them from West’s language but plans to be ready with responses when they are old enough to understand. She remarked, “My kids will one day thank me for sitting here and not trashing their dad when I could – all the crazy crap. They’ll thank me, and I’ll discreetly address whatever questions they have.”

At one point, the reality TV star became emotional while discussing the issue. Despite the challenges, Kardashian plans to be ready with responses when her children are old enough to understand and have questions about their father, saying, “I’ll discreetly address whatever questions they have.” Kim Kardashian officially obtained a divorce from her husband of over seven years in March 2021, becoming single again after seeking a divorce in February of that year.”
