Hailey MacIsaac is a musical prodigy who is set to create records in the music industry through her new album, ‘Poisonous”.
Music is the geometry of notes and melodies. Combining them and creating something that appeals to the world is a task that only a few people can accomplish. For Hailey, this process started at the age of 11. She started writing and performing her own music at such a small age as her passion pushed her to become the limelight of the music industry.
This star from Prince Edward Island, Canada was shortlisted by CBC Music Canada’s Searchlight contest (2020) for her phenomenal single “Dark Room”, which is produced by Bray Schurman. Her first album alone was nominated for three eastern Canadian music awards -Solo Recording of the Year, Pop Recording for the Year, and Digital Achievement of the Year (2020) and she most recently took home an Electronic Recording of the Year award for 2020 single Down2U featuring MOSSBOY. Her recent album release “Poisonous” will be taking Canada by storm and will go down as a musical epitome in the alternative/pop industry.
Onset Of A Harmonious Journey
Growing up on the east coast of Canada, Hailey stumbled upon the revelation that there was a lack of noteworthy pop/alternative genre artists from her side of the country. She always had a knack for singing and performing so eventually this led her to stumble upon her calling and become a prominent artist of her native place.
Initially, she wrote and sang country music and enjoyed every second of it. However, she felt something in her heart and mind still wasn’t fulfilled. That is when she decided to venture out towards pop and eventually fell in love with the rhythm, melody, and catchy lyrics that came with the territory of pop.
Perfecting Her Craft
Hailey believes in doing everything by engaging her soul and mind to it, so it was natural that she started her newfound career by practicing the art. She spent three years in rigorous training and self-development. As any hard-working artist on the rise, she knew that continued efforts and determination are the two eminent skills that she needs to possess in her journey.
“What inspired me to really pursue my music was fear of regret. I believe there are so many talented people globally who miss out on the life of their dreams because they don’t put their mind and soul into what they do. A lot of those people are sometimes better than “the best” artists in the industry. I don’t want to look back on my life and realize I didn’t fully go for it. “ – Hailey Maclsaac
